Mrs. Lillian Doris Mattson, Age 86 of Muskegon, formerly of Kent City, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 in Muskegon.   She was born Lillian Doris Van Belkum in Kent City, Michigan the daughter of Adrianna  (Brolsma) and Nickolas Van Belkum on September 28, 1923. She married Paul Arthur Mattson on September 20, 1940 in Kent City and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2004. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Kent City Baptist Church.  She is survived by her children Arthur Mattson of Rockford,  Joan & Arthur Jourden of Muskegon, Marceil & Kenneth Ducat of Montpelier, OH, Randy & Jeri Mattson of Fayette, MO, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, her brother Raymond & Leatha Van Belkum of Gas City, IN, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Garret "Buster" Van Belkum, John Van Belkum, Gerald Van Belkum, Jay Van Belkum, Leslie Van Belkum, her sisters Grace Van Belkum, Bertie Felix, Winnifred Malone and her daughter‑in‑law Lois Mattson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Kent City Baptist Church on Thursday, May 20, 2010.  Interment in Seaman Cemetery, Bailey, Michigan.  Visitation will held from 6‑8 PM Wednesday at the McKinley Funeral Home, Grant.  For memorials please consider the American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels or Visiting Nurses.   ‑ McKinley Funeral Home, Grant,  231‑834‑5613.  http:\\mckinleyfuneral.com
