Mrs. Doris May Redding, Age 95 of Grant, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at home. She was born Doris May Cole in Bailey, Michigan the daughter of Ethyl (Ruscoe) and Clyde Cole on February 25, 1915. She married Clifford Mitchell on December 24, 1936 in Muskegon, Michigan and he preceded her in death on September 6, 1961. She then married Cyril Redding on April 6, 1968 in Grant, Michigan and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2002. She was a member of Ashland Center Church of Christ. She is survived by her children Karen & Truman Redding of White Cloud, Sharon & Dan Pierce of Ada, Cliff & Marvel Mitchell of Grant, Gary & Debbie (Ladd) Mitchell of Sparta, Carl & Jackie Redding of Gowen, 23 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and her son in law Tom & Marlene Longcore.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Jane Longcore and her brothers Vernon Cole and Alfred Cole.
