Mrs. Charmaine Lynn Szabo, Age 57 of Newaygo died Monday, May 24, 2010 in Newaygo. She was born Charmaine Lynn Crittendon in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Ruth Arlue (Schoonmaker) and Wilford Earl Crittendon on July 13, 1952. She married Michael A. Szabo on August 30, 1969 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and he preceded her in death on April 14, 1997. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children Tina & William Bromley of Newaygo, Katrina & Bradley King of Sarasota, FL, Michael Szabo of Newaygo, Charles & Amanda Szabo of Comstock Park, 7 grandchildren, her brother John & Rose Crittendon of Howard City, her sisters Jodi & Terry Losey of Howard City, Shelley Haugen of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael A. Szabo, I, her brothers Tom Crittendon, Denny Crittendon and her sister Alice Fay Edwards. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM from the McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo Chapel on Sunday, May 30, 2010. Visitation will be held the hour before the memorial service.
