Mr. Phillip D. Carlson, age 68 of Kent City, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the River St. Home in Whitehall.   He was born Phillip Duane Carlson in Sparta, the son of Beatrice Irene (Rolstone) and Arvid Sexton Carlson on April 29, 1941. He married Judith Dell Brock on April 17, 1959 in Bailey. He was a Self‑employed Auto Mechanic for 35 years until his retirement in 1992.        

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Judith Carlson, his daughter Julie & Casey Patterson, his sons Tim & Christine Carlson, Noel Carlson all of Kent City, 9 grandchildren and 6 great‑grandchildren.
