Mr. Larry Hugh Mitchell, Age 59 of Grant died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at home. He was born Larry Hugh Mitchell in Grand Rapids, Michigan the son of Margaret Ann (Davidson) and Larry Hugh Mitchell on April 27, 1951. He married Joanne M. Maurer on November 23, 1968 in Newaygo. He was a factory worker for Steelecase until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of Bill’s Lake Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Joanne "Skeeter" Mitchell of Grant, his daughter Sara Mitchell-Guerra of Chicago, IL, his grandchildren Milla A. Guerra and Miles E. Guerra both of Chicago, IL, his sister Marla & Greg VanBennekom of Portage, his brothers Bob Mitchell of Grant, Joe Mitchell of Grant, brother-in-law Lonny & Suzi Hall of Newaygo, and several nieces and nephews.  Memorial services will be held at 02:00 PM from the Bill’s Lake Baptist Church, Newaygo on Saturday, May 22, 2010 with Pastor Rick Tuttle officiating.
