Mrs. Vivian A. Taylor, aged 71, of Grant went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 16, 2009.  She was born Vivian Alice Rubingh January 19, 1938 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Leah Marjorie (Nelson) and Gerald Edward Rubingh.  She married George Ora Taylor September 9, 1955 in Kent City.  Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Grant Community Church.

She is survived by her husband Rev. George Taylor, her children Adah & John Monje of Comstock Park, Ruth & Jeff Bennett of Chattanooga, TN, George Taylor Jr. of Wyoming, Mark & Paula Taylor of Grant, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters Elinor Swenson of WI, Margaret Kryger of KS, Gerald Rubingh Jr. of NV, Sandra Rubingh of Grant, Gloria & Don Herczeg of Grand Rapids, Rebekah & Terry Rust of Howard City. 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Algoma Baptist Church, 10515 Grange NE, Rockford 49341, with Pastor Dave Fernland officiating. Visitation will be held Monday two hours before service time at the church. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near Grant. For memorials please consider the Gideon’s International. Please sign the online guestbook at  (LOGO)
