Jack Sturtevant

Mr. Jack Lewis Sturtevant, Age 85 of Newaygo, died Saturday, July 4, 2009 at home. He was born Jack Lewis Sturtevant in Plainwell, Michigan the son of Blanche Ethel (Cook) and Arthur Cicero Sturtevant on January 18, 1924. He married Bonita Emma Young on May 3, 1944 in Norfolk, VA. He was a Barber/Beautician in Croton for 20 years and a Mail Carrier for the US Postal Service retiring after 20 years. He was a member of Grant Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife Bonita Sturtevant of Newaygo, his daughter Susan & Ed Fedell of Newaygo, his son Mark Sturtevant of Newaygo, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Grant Assembly of God on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 with Pastor David P. Andrew officiating. Interment in Croton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at the church. For memorials, please consider the Grant Assembly of God.
