Mr. Walter James Wright, Age 89 of White Cloud, Michigan died Thursday, January 15, 2009 in Cedar Springs.   He was born Walter James Wright in Lilly Twp, Newaygo Co., Michigan the son of Gladys Elizabeth (LaVallee) and Guy Ellsworth Wright on March 16, 1919. He married Maxine May Raymer on August 27, 1947 in Muskegon and she preceded him in death on October 10, 1998. He was an assembler for Teledyne until he retired after 40 years of service. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #4249. He was a veteran having served in the Army during World War II from April 29, 1941 to November 19, 1945 when he was discharged as a Tec 4. He is survived by his sons Jeffery & Beverly Wright of White Cloud and Walter & Mary Wright of White Cloud, 3 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, his brothers Guy & Betty Wright of Fremont,  James & Marie Wright of Big Rapids his sister Ruth Lutjens of Big Rapids and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Wright in 1972 and his grandson Walter Alan Wright, Jr. in 1988. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by McKinley Funeral Home, Grant.
