Mr. Garth C. D. Becker, age 62 of Fremont, and formerly of Grant, died Monday at Transitional Health Services of Fremont. He was born Garth Charles Delbert Becker  in Fremont, the son of Mable Isabel (Marshall) and Charles John Becker on June 8, 1946. He was a Dishwasher for The Grant Depot Restaurant for 25 years until August, 2005. He was a member of Grant Reformed Church, Grant Athletic Boosters and was an Avid sports fan for the Grant Tigers.

Garth is Survived by his brothers & sisters Louise & Joseph Jewell, Herman & Marissa Becker all of White Cloud, Edna Becker of Flemingsburg, KY and Margaret Williams of Medway, OH.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Grant Reformed Church, on Thursday,
September 25, 2008 with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Interment will be in the White Cloud Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at the McKinley Funeral Home-Grant Chapel. For Memorials please consider the familyfor funeral expenses.

Garth's family....I am so sorry to learn of his death. He is a very special person - speaking to us everytime he saw us at The Depot and always remembering my parents. I will miss seeing him with his book and always with a smile and a greeting at Transitional. He will be in my thoughts and prayers.
