Mrs. Wava A. Buckner, age 97 of Fremont, passed away quietly from this life in her home Monday, November 25, 2008 in Bridgeton Township after 97 years of hard work, love, and laughter. She was born Wava Anna Galliway in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Lilly (Moore) and Alva J. Galliway on August 21, 1911. She married Lawrence Ray Buckner on November 25, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio and he preceded her in death on August 16, 1986. She was a Line Worker for Gerber Products, Fremont for 20 + years until her retirement in 1973.

She will be sadly missed by her children Janet Renouf of Grant, William & Dorothy Buckner of Ravenna, Neil & Bonnie Buckner, Ron & Marty Buckner all of Fremont, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and her caregiver Sue Stark.
