Mrs. Shirley Jean Anderson, Age 83 of Grant, died Sunday, December 21, 2008 in Cedar Springs. She was born Shirley Jean Lacy in Muskogee, Oklahoma the daughter of Agnes (Jordan) and Thomas Lacy on October 1, 1925. She married Harold Fredrick Anderson on June 1, 1942 in Muskogie, OK. She was a self employed oil painter. She was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband Harold Anderson of Grant, her son James & Laura Anderson of Grand Rapids, her daughters Sherry & Vern VanDeVorn of Grand Rapids and Linda & Larry Powers of Grand Rapids, 11 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and her sister Donna Brown of Grand Rapids.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
