Mrs. Jessie G. Omans, age 92 of Ravenna, formerly of Newaygo died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Mercy Health Partners-Sherman Campus in Muskegon. She was born Jessie Gail Beeman in Newaygo, the daughter of Hazel (Barker) and Jessie James Beeman on February 13, 1916. She married Paul Lynn Omans on January 8, 1936 in Newaygo and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1970. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of North Chester Baptist Church.

She is survived by children Arden Jordan, Marion & Carol Omans all of Ravenna, Marlin Omans of Kent City, 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, her sister Audrey Kemmerling of Fremont.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the North Casnovia Baptist Church, Bailey on Saturday, January 3, 2009 with Pastor Dennis Boonstra officiating.
