Just wanted to let you all know I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers over the next few days. My last memory of Aunt Katherine was about three years ago in the fall. I had gone to visit my mom and went took a day and went to Grant to have lunch and visit. I remember the smells in her apartment when we entered. Aunt Katherines kitchen always smelled wonderful!! It brought back many great memroies to the farm when I was young. We had great conversation about how she and Uncle Max met and their early years. And of course she brought many old pictures and some new one as well. She had great pictures of Kathleen and her horses, Kirk's home and art collection as well as family photo's from all of you and the stories of where everybody was and what was going on in their lives. It was a wonderful afternoon!!!! God Bless you all. Love You!

I knew Katherine when I lived in Grant from 1988 until 1994. She and Max were very kind to me when I first moved to the community & joined the church. She was a gracious and kind woman. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in their loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to each of you, as your mother was a wonderful lady. I remember when I was a little girl walking back and forth to Dickinson School, she would stand in the window of the white farmhouse and wave with a big smile on her face. Her cookies were so very good too!! Then when my children were in the Grant Schools, she was just as wonderful to them as she was to me. You must all be so proud to have had such an awesome lady for a mother. God Bless each of you.
