Mrs. Helen E. Nelsen, age 90 of Grant, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Fountainview Retirement Village in Grant. She was born Helen Elizabeth Sunderlin in Lakeview, the daughter of Maude (Pope) and Walter Sunderlin on April 4, 1918. She married Robert William Nelsen on April 20, 1951 in Big Rapids. She was a Payroll Clerk for Grant Hospital for 22 years until 1983. She was a member of Mamrelund Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband Robert Nelsen, her sons Gary Nelsen, Bruce & Amy Nelsen all of Grant, 6 grandchildren, her sister Frances VanDenBerg of Big Rapids.
