I'm going to miss my brother for many reasons but mostly for his special kind of humor. He could always see the lighter side of most situations no matter how serious. In my eyes he was just a really good family man and I would be proud to follow his example.

Frank was one of the most charming and sincere men that I have ever had the honor to know. He never pretended to be anything than who he was, Frank Santellan. He made you feel at home. He loved his family. He loved his church. I was often amazed how important it was to him that he would travel in terrible weather to be at Sunday worship. You never had to guess how Frank felt about Jesus, he was always eager and willing to share his faith. There is no finer thing that can be said about a man than that he cared about the souls of men and women. We are stung by his loss, humbled by his example. Even his last Sunday at church this week, he stopped me to give me a few personal words of encouragement. This was Frank, my brother, my friend. I loved the man. I will miss him. We share in your sorrow.

I was really sad to hear the news of uncle Franks passing. He was such a special man a great example to me as I was growing up. I remember him, Roy Leal and my dad taking care of the church in Grant, even through hard times. In all the times that I spent around uncle Frank, I never ever saw him in a bad mood, mad or sad. Franks name for me was Yorch. He was always happy and giving to the people around him. He loved to make people happy. I remember him at my grandpa’s house playing his guitar and singing. Aunt Mary, Mary Jane, Erma and Teddy, I want you to know that you had a great Husband and Father and he will be missed by all who knew him. He made the world a better place. You are in our prayers.

I can't really say that I knew Frank very well, and it's been a long time since I have seen him, but I remember him as being a very happy person, and knowing how close this family is, I know he was very loved and will be missed so much, and by so many. My heart goes out to all of you, his family, and friends during this hard time, but know he is in Gods hands and doing well,Don't shed tears because he is gone but cry tears of joy for the life he lived, and most importantly, take this time to love one another and support each other, as Frank would have wanted you too.

Dad, you taught us so much. God has truly blessed us with a beautiful life with you. You lived your last day of your life as if you knew it was your last! Just the way the bible says it should be lived. I remember that morning we went to the Grant Cemetary like we always did on Memorial day to see the Memorial Day service with all the family members there. The comments that you made that day make so much sense to me now! One of those comments was, that you and mom are always together in mind and spirit. Dad did you know that that was going to be your last day with us? The rest of the day we spent it all together at my sister Teddys house. We were celebrating you and Moms 48th Anniversary. We had so much fun that day! The kids broke pinatas, we had a cake for you and mom, and Geno cooked a wonderful cookout on the grill! Remember you even told him, "my compliments to the Chef!" Dad I'm going to miss you so much. Home will never be the same, actually nothing will ever be the same. But one thing is for sure. We still have mom, and we will cherish her and take care of her for you... just the way you did.I LOVE YOU DAD... I MISS YOU ALREADY MY HEART IS CRYING FOR YOU. Your daughter, Mary Jane Rangel (Santellan)

My Dad is/was the most awesome man in my eyes, he was my first love of my life, I always wanted to marry a man just like my Dad!! Don't ever wish for something you can't handle. : ) He would always joke around and make funny remarks about what you were saying, he was a wonderful example of a christian man, I have learned a lot from him and I will always cherish him with all the great memories that I have of him, there are just way to many to post, but I thank God for not letting him suffer or live to be a man he wouldn't want to be either. We are a very strong family and with all the loving prayers and God with us everyday we will begin the healing process. I just thank God we still have our Mom and we can be with her at this difficult time in our lives. I want to thank you all for your wonderful comments about our Dad and I am so proud of him for making such a wonderful impression on so many people in our lives. Dad, I know you are with so many of our family and I just want to write down, I LOVE YOU DAD!! (I LOVE YOU TOO MIJA!!) Always remember Jane and Irma, that is what Dad would tell us back!! I love you two so much that it hurts when I think of losing either one of you or Mom, but let's enjoy our lives like Dad did his last!!! : ) With all my love, Teddy (Thea)
