Mr. Dennis C. K. Puccia, age 57 of Grant, died suddenly Thursday, April 3, 2008 in Ashland Township. He was born Dennis Christopher Karl Puccia in Nurnberg, Germany the son of Katharine (Buchhauer) and Anthony J. Puccia on September 16, 1950. He was a Vietnam veteran serving from 1969 to 1973 in the U.S. Army. He was an Engineer for the U.S. Merchant Marines for over 30 years.
He is survived by his companion Berniece DeLong of Grant and many loving family & friends. He was preceded in death by his son Anthony Puccia.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Sunday, April 6, 2008 with Pastor Jim Groenink officiating. Military honors are under the auspices of the VFW Post #4249 of Newaygo.

Dear Bernie~ As you may remember, Pooch was one of my brother's (Dale "Frog" Saunders) friends. Again, as an adult, I met him in the old North Shore Bar. Many a good times were had at that establishment partyin and playing pool. This is also where I met you Bernie. We sure did have an awesome few yrs on that pool league, eh!? Please know Bernie, that I am thinking of you and wish you strength-which I know you have always had- during this time of sorrow.
