Zoet - Mrs. Bernice E. Zoet, aged 79 of Newaygo, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008. She was Bernice Eva hiler June 19, 1928 in Traverse City, the daughter of Esther Clara (Blonshine) and Louis Ellsworth Hiler.  She married Donald Zoet November 29, 1969 in Nappanee, Indiana and he preceded her in death April 21, 2000.

She is survived by her children Carol & Allen Brummel of Grant, Steven & Jana Heiss of Fremont, Stuart & Gerri Heiss of Grant, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters Howard & Pat Hiler of Sterling, AK, Gerald Hiler of Grant, Milo Hiler of Sand Lake, Yvonne & Arlen Travis of Apache Junction, AZ, Daniel & Roberta Hiler of Grant, Mary & Joe Kenyon of Grant, Kathy & Jack Davis of Seymore, TN, sister-in-law Ruth Hiler of Cedar Springs and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Zoet, sister Joyce Atwood, brother Kenneth Hiler and a special friend Wayne Sage.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 21, 2008 at the McKinley Funeral Homes, Grant Chapel with Pastor Jonathan White officiating.
