Mrs. Ann C. Gifford, age 93 of Lathrup Village, Michigan , formerly of Newaygo, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born Ann C. Cernak in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Kristina (Majtan) and Steve Cernak on April 24, 1914. She married Fay Gifford.

She is survived by her husband Fay Gifford, her children Francis Gifford and Rene Gifford, her grandchildren Franklin & Sean Gifford, Monique (Walid) Hanif, her great-grandchildren Hajj Hanif, Jeremy, Nathan & Alexander Gifford.
