Mr. Steven J. Tibbe, age 55 of Grant, died Monday, June 4, 2007at Spectrum
Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born Steven John Tibbe in
Grand Rapids, the son of May Reta (Mouthaan) and John Albert Tibbe on March
24, 1952. He married Cynthia Lynne Gallup on May 6, 1977 in Comstock Park. He
was a Molder for Magna Donnelly-Newaygo. He was a member of First Baptist
Church-Newaygo and a member of Gum's M-37 Coffee Shop-Grant.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia Tibbe, his children Heather Tibbe of
Fremont, Nathan Tibbe of Grant, his parents John & May Reta Tibbe of Grant,
his brothers and sisters Delores & Bernie Rollston of Fruitport, Dave & Janet
Tibbe of West Olive, Marilyn & Bill Kaczmarek of Green Bay, WI, Barb Ensley of
Fennville, Roland Tibbe of Grand Rapids, Melvin Tibbe of Howard City, his
parents-in-law Leonard & Mary Gallup of Sparta, his brother-in-law Jerry &
Chris Gallup of Rockford, his sisters-in-law Candise & Paul Ingersoll of
Sparta and Nancy Niswonger of WI.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the First Baptist
Church-Newaygo, on Thursday, June 7, 2007 with Pastor Robert Wessell & Pastor
Mark Holeman officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near
Grant. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Wednesday at the McKinley
Grant Chapel. For Memorials please consider the Renucci Hospitality
House-Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus and/or First Baptist Church Building

Dear Cindy and family, I am so very sorry for you loss. Steve was to young to have been taken away. I am glad that Steve was able give the gift of life to others. That is something that everyone should be very proud of. Cindy, as your friend for the last 26 year, If there is anything that I can help you with don't hesitate to ask me..You have always been there for me during the good times and the bad times. I wish I could say or do something to ease the pain and the loss that you and your family are going thru now and the trying times you may go thru in the future. So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. We went to school together. A very special person. Great baseball player, as I remember. Steve enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be greatley missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Steve but he was a Mouthaan cousin of mine. I see that he is buried near my brother William E. Stevens. Another young man who passed too soon.
