Mrs. Sigrid S. Williams, age 66 of Fremont, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at her home in Bridgeton Township. She was born Sigrid Adena Swanson in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Gertrude (Borchers) and Ture Arvid Swanson on April 6, 1941. She married Donald Lawrence Williams on September 10, 1960 in Grant. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Newaygo County Women's Extension for 30 years.

She is survived by her husband Donald Williams, her son Douglas & Lisa Williams of Watersmeet, her daughter Laura Williams & her life partner Larry Collins of Fremont, 4 grandchildren, her sister Cynthia & Richard Stefanski of North Aurora, IL.

I have known Sig for the last 30 yrs. We have shared some wonderful memories during that time. We bowled on a bowling league together, shared many breakfast and lunches together. When we purchased a party story in Petoskey, Sig and our other close friend, Vanda, would drive up for a weekend visit every now and then. We had many laughs together. I will miss her very much and always thank God for bringing her into my life. Rest peacefully, Siggy, until we see each other again.
