Mr. Ralph "Bud" Corrigan, age 88 of Newaygo, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at his home in Newaygo. He was born Ralph Edward Corrigan in Pontiac, the son of Esther Viola (Houston) and William Joseph Corrigan on October 25, 1918. He married Shirley Maxine Pickell Holmes on January 25, 1969 in Newaygo. He was a Carpenter until 1980 retiring after 45 years.

He is survived by his wife of 38 1/2 years Shirley Corrigan, his children Virginia & Bob Ridsdale of Dewitt, Rose Dietrick of Gladwin, Ron & Jean Ann Corrigan of Harrison, Mary Ann & Sid Dotson of Lansing, Lana Ford of Newaygo, Patti & Bill Meengs of Newaygo, Ruth & Ralph Whitehouse of Howard City, Joyce Rogers of Grant, Colleen Corrigan of Fremont, Kathy & Dave Ingraham of Jacksonville, FL, Rita Lang & Robert of Grant, Rex Corrigan of Newaygo, Alicia & Eric Harris of Lowell, Bill & Jenny Corrigan of Palmyra, PA, step-daughter: Kim Phillips of Bonita Springs, FL, 48 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, his brothers John & Evelyn Corrigan, Bill & Fredi Corrigan, Ray & Doris Corrigan, Bob & Clarice Corrigan, Don & Judy Corrigan, Ted Corrigan, sisters Pat & Dee Blankenship all of Newaygo, Katy & Russ Corso of Ohio, Mary Vores of Kalamazoo, brother-in-law Len Loomis of Newaygo, several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Dolly Garner, sister Rose Loomis, brothers Ken & Tom Corrigan, grandsons Everett & Ted Starks and great-grandson Darrell Ryan.
