Mr. Nylan "Len" Johnson, age 68 of Grant, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born Nylan Leonard Johnson in Bitely, Michigan the son of Mabel Edith (Christ) and Herbert Otto Johnson on December 28, 1938. He married Alfrieda Louella Scheuneman on December 11, 1980 in Grant. He was a Roofer for Grand Rapids Roofing until 1997 after 23 years.

He is survived by his wife Alfrieda Johnson of Grant, his children Gary & Judy Johnson of Grant, Ritchie Johnson of Grant, Gail & Don Keech of Sand Lake, Vickie Skaggs of Florida, Connie Johnson of Grand Rapids, Tracy Johnson of Louisiana, Dana Johnson of Florida, Jame & Robert Dean of Bailey, Scott & Karri Johnson of Grant, step-daughters Marilyn & Ken Dreyer of Grant, Pauline & Kevin Musgrave of Greenville, DiAnn Lewis of Lakeview, 28 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, his brothers Max & Lila Johnson of Grant, David Johnson of Bailey, Marvin Johnson of White Cloud.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Thursday, July 19, 2007 with Pastor Norm Hall, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held Noon-1:00 P. M. Thursday. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near Grant.
