Sally, please know that we are all praying for you and your family.
Dear Ferris, Judy, and family, I just received the news from Jerry Lindquist and I am sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I am at MSU and serving on a search committee for the next several days, so will not be with you to join in celebrating Jean's wonderful lifetime of contributions and achievements. She was a very important lady to me and of great influence on my career. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you gather as family and friends to support each other during this difficult time.
Dear Uncle Farris, So sorry to hear about Aunt Jeans passing. I am so glad we got to visit with her and you when we were up for the family reunion. I know it is a big loss for you and the girls. I know she will be dearly missed. We are back in Florida so will not be there with you and I am so sorry for that. You and the family will be in our prayers. We Love You Dearly.
Wish we could have been there to help celebrate Aunt Jean's wonderful life. She was such an insprition to me as I grew up. She was quite a lady with her hospitality and always supporting family get-togethers. We will miss her dearly. Our love to Uncle Ferris, Judy, Jack, Kris, Bonnie and Sally.
Uncle Ferris, Kris, Bonnie, Sally, Judy, and Jack. Our deepest sympathy to you and your families during this time of grief. May God comfort you during this difficult time. We have many fond memories of Aunt Jean, being the perfect hostess regardless of what was going on in her busy life. She always took the time and made the effort to make those visiting feel at home in her home.
May you rest in peace, my lovely Aunt Jean. Uncle Ferris and family, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. All my love, Jessica
Dear Uncle Ferris and Family - I was so glad to have known Aunt Jean and the rest of the Leaches. You've been an important part of my life, even though we got a late start getting to know each other. I have such great memories of all the family reunions, of which Aunt Jean was a big part. At one of the reunions, we collected favorite recipes - Aunt Jean submitted Salmon Patties which I still make and enjoy. Love to all - Cindy
Sorry to hear of Jeans passing. She surely lived a full life. We will miss her greatly. Dick and Bernie Witbeck
Dear Uncle Ferris, Kris, Bonnie, Sally, Judy and Jack. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Aunt Jean was always there to support family members with a smiling face and abundant hospitality. We will all miss her, but know she is in a better place. Love, Nan and Jan
My cousin, Shannon Lindquist, sent me Mrs. Leach's newspaper obituary. I live in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Leach were friends of my late parents - Bruce and Betty Sutherland of Hillsdale, MI. I have fond memories of Mr. Leach visiting our home for dinner as I was growing up, and of visiting the Leach farm in Hersey on several occasions. My brother, Bruce Sutherland, Jr., and I were so pleased that Mr. and Mrs. Leach attended my mother's graveside service in LeRoy 10 years ago. Mr. Leach and family, please accept my sympathy and prayers as you remember a fine lady with pride. Becky Sutherland Cornett
Sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I knew her back when she was carrying Ferris first child. She was teaching a Home Extension Class at Marion, MI. [sewing]. A very talented lady, with a love for the subject she taught. She will be missed.
Judy: I'm more isolated than I thought. Just learned of your mother's death. Thinking of you and pray you'll find peace in your memories of her. God bless. Alex
