Mrs. Esther Clara Hiler, Age 97 of Grant, Michigan died Thursday, September 06, 2007 in Fremont. She was born Esther Clara Blonshine in Traverse City, MI the daughter of Eva (Lardie) and Howard Blonshine on March 31, 1910. She married Louis Ellsworth Hiler on October 28, 1927 in Traverse City and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1962. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Rice Lake Baptist Church. She is survived by her children Bernice Zoet of Newaygo; Ruth Hiler of Cedar Springs; Howard & Pat Hiler of Sterling, AK; Gerald Hiler of Grant; Milo Hiler of Sand Lake; Yvonne & Arlen Travis of Apache Junction, AZ; Daniel & Roberta Hiler of Grant; Mary & Joe Kenyon of Grant; Kathy & Jack Davis of Seymore, TN; her sisters Isabell Eisner and Allene & Bud Powell. She was preceded in death by her daughter Joyce Atwood, her son Kenneth Hiler and her daughters in law June and Terry Hiler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM from the Rice Lake Baptist Church, Grant on Monday, September 10, 2007 with Pastor Dan Fullmer officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 on Sunday at the McKinley Funeral Home, Grant. You took the time to take me to services at the Rice Lake Baptist where the word of God was first instilled in me.
