Mr. David E. Callen, age 59 of Fremont, formerly of Kent City, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Metron in Cedar Springs. He was born David Eugene Callen in Grand Rapids, the son of Coral May (Green) and David Harold Callen on August 2, 1947. He married Marilyn Ann Cook on April 4, 1965 in Grand Rapids. He was a Machinist for McNees Manufacturing, Kent City until July, 2006.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Callen, his children David Callen of Davison, Becky Callen of Baldwin, Colette & Bruce Benton of Fremont, his grandchildren Brian Magoon II, Alanna Benton, Kendra Benton, Bruce Benton II, Nichole Benton, Brooke Benton, Natasha Callen, David Callen, Amber Callen, his great-grandchildren Alyssa Benton, Brian Magoon III, Kyle Benton, his sisters & brother Dorothy Bos of Newaygo, Eloise Jewell of Rockford, Mary & Carl Ebenstein of White Cloud, Edwin & Aurora Callen of Sparta.
