Mr. Charles L. Gee, age 83 of Bailey, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Fountainview Retirement Village in Grant. He was born Charles Leslie Gee in Bailey, the son of Vera (Olmstead) and Charles Leslie Gee on June 16, 1924. He married Clara Mae Colton on August 24, 1946 in Bailey and she preceded him in death on July 2, 1996. He was a Owner/operator of Charles Gee & Sons Orchards near Bailey until 2000. He was a member of Bailey Christian Church where he was a former Elder.

He is survived by his children Marcia & Steven Falarski of Rockford, C. Thomas & Julia Gee of Bailey, Beth & Stan Gaines of Cedar City, UT, Bradley C. & Patricia Gee of Bailey, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and his sister Mary & Keith Moore of Grant.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Bailey Christian Church, on Monday, October 22, 2007 with Mr. Daren Penwell officiating. Interment will be in the South Casnovia Cemetery near Casnovia. Visitation will be held 3-6 PM Sunday at McKinley Grant Chapel and 10-11 AM Monday at Bailey Christian Church. After being gone for a month, we belatedly read that Charlie had died. Please know that we are thinking of you as your parents were a big part of our lives as our children grew up. We loved living on the farm amongst the cherries and apples with all the farm equipment and work. We remember with fondness the "chicken coop coffee cafe" and long visits from Charlie as he made his rounds of the property. We are grateful for your family's friendship. Ed, Jean and family
