Mr. Brenton F. Woodard, aged 66, of Ensley Township, died Thursday at his home. He was born Brenton Fay Woodard February 18, 1941 in Cedar Springs, Michigan, the son of George Wallace and Thelma (Wheaton) Woodard. He married Virginia Jones July 5, 1957 in White Cloud and was retired from General Motors. He is survived by his wife Virginia, his children Harvey & Robin Woodard, Bruce & Tammie Woodard, Brad & Terry Woodard, Keri Woodard, George & Hydie Woodard, and Jeri & Dennis Graham all of Howard City, 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, his brothers & sisters Norma & Henry McNees of Sand Lake, Gloria & Walter Curtis of Grand Haven, and Larry & Helen Woodard of Rockford. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 24, 2007 at the McKinley Newaygo Chapel with Pastor Lonnie Shields officiating. Interment will be in the North Ensley Cemetery near Sand Lake. Ginny, I am so sorry to hear of Brent's death. I did not know either of you very well, but I do remember you from Cedar Springs High School, class of 1959. You are in my prayers.
