Mrs. Betty G Henry, age 83 of Newaygo, and formerly of Grant, died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born Betty Gene Harmon in Three Rivers, the daughter of Gladys A. (Deckard) and Lester Harmon on December 23, 1923. She married Walter Emery Henry on February 4, 1942 in White Cloud and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2002. She was a retired Dietician for Grant Hospital. She was a member of Newaygo County Farm Bureau.

She is survived by her son Bob & Marlene Henry of Grant, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, her sister Lois Bodkins of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her daughters Delores Marsman, Karen Robinson, her daughter-in-law Pat Henry.

Memorial services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2007 from the Ensley Baptist Church with Rev. James Ankerberg officiating. There will be no visitation. For Memorials please consider the Ensley Baptist Church. Please sign the online guest book at www.mckinleyfuneral.com.

My prayers and blessings go out to all the family. Gary and I spent many hours on our grandpa's farm with Aunt Betty and Uncle Walt chasing chickens and cows and hauling hay.We still laugh to this day about all the things that went on. Remember the good times in your life and give thanks. Linda & Gary ( Gene Henry's children).
