Aunt Jane and Family Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.
I have a lot of extraordinary memories with Barbie. The first time I ever had milk strait from the cow, was with Barbie. The cow had just been milked it was worm, yuck! When I was younger I would stay with Barbie and Richard during the summer and on weekends. Barbie gave me my first look at South Division in Grand Rapids. I had never seen a homeless person before. People were laying down on the side walk others would step over them, walk around them. I told her to stop and help them. She told me to look around, this is not a safe place for us to stop, but this is their home. I took a moment and looked around; this was a whole new world I didn’t know was out there, Wow! There were Pimps and Hookers and I don’t mean Chuck & Nan either. Barbie told me to be thankful for the life & family I have. Things could always be worse, boy was she right. I will always remember Barbie as an adult person who took some of her time and spent it with me, a little girl that wanted to be just like her. I am older now with a grown family of my own. Barbie and the memories I have with her will always be a part of me and the person I am today. I will always be thankful for the time she shared with me.
She is well Loved and will be missed dearly
I knew barb from work. I remember the first time i met barb, our foreman put us together on a line with each other and all i kept thinking was please let me be able to keep up with her. We hit it off so well that day that we started working together all the time and if we wern't then we would ask Bernie to put us on the same line and he usually would.Or if we worked a saturday we would ask to be put together even before sat. got there. I will miss the fun times with her. I will truly miss her smiling face, all her kind words and especially her warm hugs. I am forunate to have got to spend the time i did with barb and get to enjoy her. She was a very special , kind person and now she is truely an ANGEL, i will miss her.
I am so sorry of your loss,of your daughter, of your sister and my friend, Barb and I were quite close at 1 time but drifted apart when she moved out of Newaygo..I like you should and will cherish the memories we had together
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sorry I couldn't make it to the service, but know I was there in thought.
