Ashland Marie Acosta-Gilland, Age one month and 25 days of Grant, Michigan died Friday, October 12, 2007 in Grand Rapids. She was born Ashland Marie in Fremont, Michigan the daughter of Amanda Denise Acosta and Matthew William Gilland on August 17, 2007. She is survived by her parents Amanda Acosta and Matthew Gilland of Grant; her brother Brayden Acosta-Gilland; her grandparents Juanita Trevino of Grant, Julian Acosta of Grant, Matthew & Patricia Gilland of Hart; her great grandparents Julian Acosta Sr. of Grant and William & Kathryn Lovell of Pentwater; her aunts and uncles, Jerry & Rosalynna Trevino of Texas, Michael Trevino of Walkerville, Will Trevino of Grant, Sarah Trevino of Grant, Edward Acosta of Grant, Paloma Acosta of Grant, Elizabeth & Ted DuMont of Rothbury, Angela Ruggles of Hart, : Anna Gilland of Hart and several cousins and other family members. She was preceded in death by her uncle Julian Jacob Acosta. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the River Valley Community Church, Newaygo on Monday, October 15, 2007 with Rev. Jim Groenik officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 PM Sunday at McKinley Funeral Home, Grant Chapel.
