Mrs. Denise Arleen Snieder, Age 50 of Grant, died Friday, December 22, 2006 in Grand Rapids. She was born Denise Arleen Rusco in Muskegon, Michigan the daughter of Frances LaVerne (Baldwin) and Fredrick Harvey Rusco on April 15, 1956. She married Gary Snieder on April 17, 1993 in Grant. She was a Agent Manager for American Royal Travel. She attended Grant Reformed Church was a little league and soccer coach. She is survived by her husband Gary Snieder of Grant; her children Michael Berger and his fiance Penny of Grand Rapids; Melissa & Dexter Berends of Grand Rapids and Joshua Snieder of Grant; her grandson Ethan Berends; her parents Fred & Fran Rusco of Casnovia; her brother Tom & Lois Rusco of Atlanta, GA; her mother in law Eunice Snieder of Grant; her brother in law Dale Snieder of Grant and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM from the Grant Reformed Church on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 with Pastor James Karsten officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday at McKinley Funeral Home Grant Chapel. For memorials please consider the Grant Reformed Church Youth Programs or Ashland-Grant Fire Department Rescue Equipment.
To the Family: I am so sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed by all. Knowing she is in a better place will hopefully ease your sorrow and grief. She was a wonderful person and for those of us who knew her should be blessed.

I was so sorry to hear about Denise. I remember her well from grade school and high school in Kent City. I think we may have even taken Driver's Education together. Denise will be missed, but I will keep her in my prayers.
Denise was one of the nicest people I knew. She would always stop and make sure she said hi to me. I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother and wife. I'm glad I was blessed enough to know her. I know there is one more Angel in Heaven.
