Mr. Rodney Vern Barendreght, Age 61 of Grant, died Tuesday, August 01, 2006 in Grand Rapids.   He was born Rodney Vern Barendreght in Grant, Michigan the son of Elsie (Sage) and Vern  Barendreght on August 28, 1944.  He married Patricia Jean Sivertsen on November 26, 1966 at Ensley Baptist Church.  He was a self employed mason.  He was a member of Ensley Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Patricia Barendreght of Grant; his chilren Darla & Brent Diemer of Alto; Randy & Anette Barendreght of Sparta; Debra & Scott Bull of Dacula, GA; Mark & Kim Barendreght of Sparta; Deanna & Nathan Fisher of Lakeview; Dana & Tyler Imhoff of Cedar Springs; 14 grandchildren plus one on the way; his sisters Donna, Vera, and Carolyn; his brothers Jerry, Curtis and Roger; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Ensley Baptist Church, Sand Lake on Saturday, August 05, 2006 with Pastor Jim Ankerburg officiating.  Interment in Hillside Cemetery.   Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday at Ensley Baptist Church.  For memorials please consider Ensley Baptist Church.
