Mrs. R. Marjory Thomas, age 83 of Newaygo, died Thursday, March 9, 2006 Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born Ruth Marjory Davison in Croton Twp, Newaygo County, Michigan the daughter of Ruth Agatha (Sheppard) and John Leslie Davison Sr. on October 24, 1922. She married Stanley Thomas Jr. on December 31,1939 in Newaygo. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Newaygo United Church of Christ and the Auxiliary of Newaygo VFW Post #4249 where she was past president..

She is survived by her husband Stanley Thomas Jr., her children Stanley & Bonnie Thomas III, Gloria & Jerry Henderson all of Newaygo, Jerry & Aida Tomaz of California, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, her brothers Elmo & Mildred Davison of Hayfork, CA, Marvin & Joyce Davison of Holton.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P. M. from the McKinley Newaygo Chapel, on Sunday, March 12, 2006 with Mr. David Joe Hatter officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 P. M. service time. For Memorials please consider the charity of your choice.
