Mrs. Marilyn J. VanSingel, age 69 of Grant, went to be with her Lord Thursday, November 2, 2006 from Spectrum Health-Blodgett Campus in East Grand Rapids. She was born Marilyn Joann Larsen in Grant, the daughter of Emma Anne (Clough) and Alvin Edward Larsen on August 16, 1937. She married Gary Lynn VanSingel on June 17, 1960 in Grant. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Grant Reformed Church.

Marilyn was a very loving, passionate wife, mother, grandmother, & sister and will be missed greatly by her husband Gary VanSingel, son Kevin VanSingel, daughter Lori & Larry Wemple all of Grant, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister Susan & Doug Swanson of Grant, sister-in-law Bev Larsen of Arizona, and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald Larsen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the Grant Reformed Church, on Monday, November 6, 2006 with Pastor James Karsten officiating. Interment will be in the Danish Cemetery near Grant.
