Mrs. Marilyn D. Johnson, age 74 of Fremont, died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born Marilyn Deloris Giles in Bridgeton Township, the daughter of Evelyn (Halverson) and Milo Giles on March 16, 1932. She married Earl A. Johnson and he preceded her in death in 1976. She was a Homemaker all her life.

She is survived by her children Renee & James Williams of Newaygo, Rick Wolverton of Fremont, Rodney Wolverton of Grant, Rachelle & Eric Van Zant of Fremont, her life long friend Sandee White of Fremont, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, her brothers Dean & Mary Giles of Idaho and Keith Giles of Ravenna.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M at the Bridgeton Cemetery near Grant, on Friday, August 25, 2006 with Rev. Darry Hichue officiating..
