Mrs. Laura V. Verschueren, age 47 of Fremont, died Saturday, December 2, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born Laura Viola Horney in Muskegon, the daughter of Marlene Maroa (Deater) and Ernest Carl Horney on April 28, 1959. She married Peter Henry Verschueren on April 30, 1983 in Bridgeton and he preceded her in death on August 11, 1994. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Fremont Community Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her sisters Barbara & Waymon Johnson of Sesser, IL, Rhonda & Larry Welch of Grant, Karen & Tony Cole of Hudsonville, nieces & nephews Eva, Melinda, Charissa, Katie, Missy, Lyle & Michael.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 with Pastor Mike King officiating. Interment in Bridgeton Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday. Memorials: Fremont Community Fellowship Building Fund.
