Julian J. Acosta, age 16 of Grant, died very unexpectively Sunday, January 1, 2006 at Spectrum Heath-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born Julian Jacob Acosta in Big Spring, Texas the son of Juanita (Rios) and Julian Acosta, Jr. on January 6, 1989. He was a Laborer for VanSingel Produce, Grant. He was a communicant of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo.

He is survived by his parents Julian Acosta & Juanita Trevino of Grant, his grandpa Julian Acosta of Grant, his brothers & sisters Jerry & Rosa Trevino of Grand Rapids, Mike Trevino, Will Trevino, Sarah Trevino, Amanda Acosta, Edward Acosta, Paloma Acosta all of Grant.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Thursday, January 5, 2006 with Mr. Isidoro Morales officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Wednesday. For Memorials please consider the family for funeral expenses.
