Mrs. Elaine M. Goodale, age 85 of Grant went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 11, 2006 at home. She was born Elaine Marie Saunders in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Lavina (Parker) and Henry Saunders on July 16, 1921. She married Frank Goodale on August 19, 1939 in Grand Rapids and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1994. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Grant Assembly Of God.

She is survived by her daughters Linda & Alan Buchanan of Grant; Carole Goodale of Kentwood; Connie & Floyd Martz of Wyoming; Melissa & Dave Higgins of Grant; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her brother Robert Saunders of Texas; her brother in law Al Marcinowski of Walker.  She was preceded in death by her son Frank Goodale in 1982 and her husband Frank Goodale in 1994. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Grant Assembly of God on Friday, September 15, 2006 with Pastors Glen Jeffries and Roger Coalter officiating.  Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.   Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Thursday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Grant.
