Cleo C. Tomklewicz, age 88 of Grant, passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility near Fremont. She was born Cleo Carolyn Blood in Grant, the daughter of Ruth (Cavender) and Albert Blood on December 14, 1917. She married Henry Tomklewicz in 1941 in Grant and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1968. She was a Homemaker all her life, but in her earlier years she worked at area farms, National Fruit Products in Kent City and also Johnny’s Restaurant in Grant.

She survived by her son Richard & Mary Tomklewicz of Grant, granddaughters Staci & Nathan Wygle, Lisa & Scott Lang, Lindsey Tomklewicz all of Grant, her great-grandsons Caleb Lang and Carson Wygle, and her half-sister Shirley Traxler of Muskegon.

Graveside Funeral services were held at 1:00 P. M at the Ashland Center Cemetery near Grant, on Monday, August 28, 2006 with Pastor George Taylor officiating. There was no visitation at her request.
