Mr. Charles Leroy Simington, Sr., Age 66 of Newaygo, died Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at home.  He was born Charles Leroy Simington, Sr. in Sparta, the son of Clara Alice (Merritt) and Arthur Franklin Simington on September 26, 1939.  He married Jessie Leona DeWitt on October 3, 1959 in Grand Rapids.  He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Bowen-Milas Construction until retiring in 1986.  He was a member of Comstock Park Christian Reformed Church.  He is survived by his wife Jessie Simington of Newaygo; his daughter Roxanne & Jeff Crandall of Grant and their children Jeffrey, Ryan, Andrea, Nathan & Samantha; his son Charles L. Jr & Gayle Simington of Newaygo and their children Kelly, Tasha, Sara, Emily & Nicholas; his son Donald L. & Karen Simington of Newaygo and their children Tina, Tami, Angela & Donald M.; his great grandchildren Sheyenne, Raven, Taylor, Cara, Gary & Corbin; his sisters Betty, Gloria, Darlene, Georgia, Mary Jo, Sharon, Shirley, Patty & Connie; his brothers Art Jr., Jimmy & Brian; sisters-in-law Phyllis, Mary & Tootie; brothers-in-law Jim, Bob & Albert; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son Roger M.
