Mr. Ronald D. DuBois, age 84 of Walker, died Saturday, January 1, 2005 at St. Marys Living Center in Walker. He was born Ronald Douglas DuBois in Grant, the son of Delma Marguerite (Chase) and Harvey Earl DuBois on June 26, 1920. He married Caroline Elizabeth Mohr on February 5, 1949 in Grand Rapids. He was a Tool & Die Maker for 30 years at General Motors Plant #1. He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and was a veteran of World War II. He was a hard worker and a farmer who loved nature, the land and the animals. He loved his Lord, his church and was a great supporter of the Right to Life Cause. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Caroline DuBois, his children Karl & Marcia DuBois of Wyoming, Katherine & Donald Swick of Grant, Kristen DuBois of Fairbanks, AK, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and his sister Marabel Gugle of Comstock Park, his brother Gerald & Johanna DuBois of Grant. He was preceded in death by his daughter Karol in 1991.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 P. M., Friday, January 7, 2005 at the Ashland Center Cemetery near Grant. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids (at the corner of Leonard and Kinney), on Saturday, January 8, 2005 with Rev. Sean Rippy officiating. There will be no visitation.
