Mrs. Lillian L. Hanes, age 90 of Sand Lake, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Carson City Hospital in Carson City. She was born Lillian Lenora Cook in Cedar Springs, the daughter of Amy (Olson) and Clifford Cook on March 2, 1915. She married Ted M. Hanes on May 2, 1936 in Ensley Center and he preceded her in death on June 24 1975. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Ensley Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children Linda Brock of Bailey, Philip & Mary Hanes of Sarasota, FL, Ruth & Roger Wright of Cedar Springs, Phyllis & Don Klinge of Grand Haven, Dick & Mariea Hanes of Cedar Springs, Karl & Kathleen Hanes of Sand Lake, Marcella & Roger Schleder of Ithaca, 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the Ensley Baptist Church, on Friday, May 20, 2005 with Pastor James Ankerberg officiating. Interment will be in North Ensley Cemetery near Howard City. Visitation will be held 7-9 P. M. Thursday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Grant. For Memorials please consider Hospice of Michigan and/or Ensley Baptist Church.
