Mrs. Geraldine VanIddeking, age 89 formerly of Sand Lake, died Monday, January 24, 2005 Fountainview Retirement Village in Grant. She was born Geraldine Mouthaan in Kent City the daughter of Jessie (Puite) and John Mouthaan on October 9, 1915. She married Martin VanIddeking on February 27, 1940 in Grant and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1995. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Grant Reformed Church.

She is survived by her children Sharon & Jim Frey of Sand Lake, Ray & Donna VanIddeking of Kalamazoo, her grandchildren Alan & Jackie Frey, Keith & Cindy Frey, Kim & Tim Pieper, Terry Frey, Renee & Ken Naffzinger, Ryan VanIddeking, her brother John Mouthaan of Kent City, her brother-in-law Henry & Jeanette VanIddeking, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law Jessie VanIddeking and Dorothy Mouthaan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. from the McKinley Grant Chapel on Thursday, January 27, 2005 with Pastor James Karsten officiating. Interment will be in the Crandall Cemetery near Sand Lake. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. For Memorials please consider the Grant Reformed Church Transportation Fund.
