Mr. Edward Lee Nelson, Age 62 of Grant, Formerly of Bailey, died Saturday, January 08, 2005 in  Fremont.  He was born Edward Lee Nelson in Muskegon the son of Marian Ellen (Ashburn) and Edward Quinn Nelson on May 09, 1942.   He served in the Navy from November 17, 1959 to May 8, 1963 when he was discharged as a SN-Seaman.  He married Sandra Lee Sylvia on March 9, 1962 in Wallingford, Connecticut.  He was a Self Employed Furniture Repairer until his retirement in 1998.     
He is survived by his wife Sandra Nelson of Grant

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Ashland Center Church of Christ in Grant on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 with Pastor Paul Kuiper officiating.  Interment in Ashland Center Cemetery. Visitation: 7-9 P.M. Monday at McKinley Funeral Home, Grant Chapel.  Memorials: American Cancer Society.
