Mr. William "Bill" Alger Ward, Age 75 of Newaygo, MI died Friday, November 25, 2005 in Grand Rapids. He was born William Alger Ward in Caledonia Twp., Kent Co.,Michigan, the son of Laura (Gardner) and James A. Ward on June 28, 1930. He married Marguerite (Peggy) Sietsma on September 26, 1980 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a Mechanic for Kent County Road Commission until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of Creston Post V.F.W. DADS. He is survived by his wife Marguerite "Peggy" Ward of Newaygo; his children Jim & Linda Ward of Sand Lake; Laura & Ron Bullard of Newaygo; Barb & Terry Blanton of Newaygo; Sue & Mike Streeter of Grand Rapids; Jack & Sharon Ward of Crystal; Ron & Cheryl Ward of Wyoming; Sherry & Harold Ebenstein of Comstock Park; Diane & Mike Nygaard of Wyoming; Pam Sietsma of Newaygo; Duane Sierz; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother in law Bill & Ruth Stoel of Madison Heights; sister in law Jean Mankel of Newaygo; sister in law Shirley Liebau of Washington, WV; brother in law Harold Stoel of Big Rapids; sister in law Patricia & George Biro of Hersey; several nieces and nephews. CommentsI remember Mr.Ward being introduced by his son Ron when we were teenagers.I used to get a kick out of his laugh, it was a one of a kind.He was a jokingly and high spirited man.Im sure he will be missed.My thought and prayers to the family. -Ron Peterson
