Hubbell,
Walter, J. — Died peacefully February 9, 2005 at the age of 77. Walter was
born September 9, 1927 to Calvin and Mary Hubbell in Crockery Township,
Michigan. He is a Veteran of the US Army and retired from Teledyne Continental
Motors after 41 years there. He lived and raised his family in Muskegon,
Michigan until moving to Grandville, Michigan in 2003. Celebrating his life
are his loving wife, Elouise, daughter, Ane (James) Richter of Ann Arbor,
Michigan, son, Dennis (Mary) of North Muskegon, Michigan, daughter, Kim R.H.
Cross of Grandville, Michigan, and the four grandchildren who were always the
joy of his latter years, Megan Hubbell, Collin Hubbell, Hunter Cross and Alexa
Richter. Additionally, he is survived by his father-in-law, Clifford Crispin,
his brothers Walker Hubbell and Paul Hubbell (Jane), his sister, Ethelyn
(Robert) Anderson, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Katie and Carl Van
Koevering, Ruth and Herb Hesselink, Larry and Jeanne Crispin, Colleen Abrahams
and Marguerite Hubbell. Walter always gave generously of himself to his
family, friends and the community --- he will be missed by all. For Memorials
please consider the Alzheimer’ s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite
1700, Chicago, IL 60601. Envelopes will be available at the McKinley Funeral
Home, Grant, Michigan where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 –
6 pm. A “Celebrating His Life Service” will be held Monday, February 14th at
11 am from the South Wyoming United Methodist Church, 5603 Byron Center Avenue
