My prayers and condolences go out to their blood family and their church family. I had the pleasant opportunity to meet Santana and Juana a couple of years ago. They were truly a loving and beautiful couple. God is smiling because He has two of His faithful at His side. Melissa A. Coleman (Rathbun)

Cousins: My heart is sadden to know that Tio Santana and Tia Juanita are no longer with us. It really shocked me when my mom (Frances Cruz) called to tell me the news about their death. I see my dad (tio's brother Esmerejildo Cruz) sad and how he cries since he can't make the trip to see his brother one last time due to his health. By me saying we, I mean my family including my husband and daughters too; we are with you in thoughts and prayers and very sorry that we are not able to accompany you all on these hard days. To my brothers & sisters i know for a fact that this came as a shock to all of us because this is something that was not expected. They left with us all the love, kindness, happiness within each other. All the good times and bad that they shared with us.We have lots to be thankful for because they are now in a better place. No pain, diseases, hunger, anger. They are with their loved ones that had left them behind years ago.Once again they are reunited with their lost loved ones. They are looking down on us right now and are proud of each and everyone of us.I know it is hard but Mom & Dad have taught us to be there for each other for confort & sadness, happines, and love.I just want to say MOM & DAD you will be missed very much.NO more tortillas. But we are all strong and will get through this TOGETHER.Unlike all their friends and relatives I LOVE YOU MOM & DAD. LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER & IN MY HEART YOUR DAUGHTER TERESA BUCKOWING.
