Mr. McKinley H. Freeman II, age 84 of Brohman, died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born McKinley Howard Freeman II in Detroit, the son of Frances (Starks) and McKinley Howard Freeman Sr. on August 27, 1920. He married Virginia E. Burgen on March 25, 1975 in Detroit, and she preceded him in death on June 1, 2002. He was a Bus Driver for City of Detroit Department of Transportation until 1986. He was a life member of VFW Post #4249 Newaygo; Newaygo County Road & Parks Commission; Democratic Caucus.

He is survived by his son McKinley & Rachel Freeman III of Detroit, 3 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and his sister Freda Mitchell of Columbus, OH.
