Mr. Leroy James Coffman, Age 79 of White Cloud, formerly of Grant, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 in Grand Rapids. He was born Leroy James Coffman in Farmington, Michigan, the son of Susie I. (Housel) and Mervin I. Coffman on September 03, 1926. He married Leola Hannah on January 7, 1947 in Munising, Michigan and she preceded him in death on January 13, 1998. He was an Inspector for Michigan Plating & Stamping, Grand Rapids until retiring in 1987. He was a veteran having served in the Army during World War II from April 26, 1945 to November 15, 1946 when he was discharged as a PFC. He is survived by his children Gale Beach of Sand Lake; Susan Coffman of White Cloud; Ken & Kim Coffman of Wyoming; Bob & Tammy Coffman of Greenville; David Coffman of Texas; Roger & Lisa Coffman of Sand Lake; Tim & Stacey Coffman of Cedar Springs; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother John Coffman of Cedar Springs. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the White Cloud Church of God on Monday, December 05, 2005 with Rev. Ron Treadway officiating. Visitation 6-8 PM Sunday at White Cloud Church of God.
