Mr. John Alvin Jenkins, Age 57 of White Cloud died Sunday, July 17, 2005 in Otsego Lake Township.  He was born John Alvin Jenkins in Gary, Indiana the son of Annie (Steele) and Robert  Jenkins on April 29, 1948. He married Dolores Jean Weeks on April 12, 1991 in White Cloud.  He was a Disabled veteran from the US Army having served during the Vietnam War from May 27, 1965 to November 29, 1976 when he was discharged as a Specialist 4.  He was the recipient of a purple heart.  He is survived by his children Leeandra & Michael; his brothers Donald & Diane Jenkins of Bear River, MN and Butch Steele of Oklahoma City, OK; his sister Virginia & James Henderson of Tyler, TX; 5 Grandchildren; and his aunt Dorothy Murchison of Jewett, TX.  Preceded in death by sister Ellyn Jones.  Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM from the Luther Bible Chapel, Morley on Friday, July 22, 2005 with Rev.
